Exceleram was established in year 2007, when CEO Torsten Düker took a chance, and negotiated a contract with a Taiwanese hardware manufacturer. Exceleram's products range from SSD's, USB-sticks and RAM, which are sold with the slogan; "Assembled in Germany" - the headquarter is placed in Landau, Germany, and this is where the quality control is being done. The company's future strategy is to supply products of high quality, with professional support to the global market.
The EP3001A modules have a speed of DDR3-1333 MHz with CL9 timings, and a tRAS-value of 24. The CRT-timing can be adjusted to 1T, which gives you extra performance. Exceleram have chosen to spare the heatsinks, to minimize the price. The overclocking potential is big, and by loosening the timings, it is possible to hit speeds over DDR3-2000 MHz. We compare the modules in various benchmark tests against kits from both Exceleram and Kingston.

The SPD settings are flexible, and fits most new platforms: DDR-592 MHz results in an effective DDR3-speed of 1184 MHz, while DDR-666 MHz gives a DDR3-speed of 1332 MHz.
As we can see, there are no programmed XMP-profiles, which is a little sad.
