Introduction

When it comes to motherboards, ASRock is becoming a bigger player, also on the Danish market. They have launched some really good motherboards recently. Among those have ASRock launched one with AMD’s newest chipset, all packed into a potent motherboard – the ASRock 880G Extreme 3 AM3.

 

Packaging

ASRock 880G Extreme3 comes in a very bling bling case which is not exactly nice to look at. I tried to think of something smart to say about it, how it could be attractive, but I simply couldn’t.

 

 

The combination of a black background and the rainbow-colored reflecting overlay makes your eyes looking confused on the case to find information about the motherboard – even though the case don’t show anything but information. The overlay makes it hard to focus on it. ASRock have placed a big logo to make sure that you know that ASRock 880G Extreme3 have “True 333”. True 333 mean USB3.0, SATA3 and eSATA3. Aligning the bottom edge is a row of logos that tell the rest of the motherboard features.

 

The backside is a lot like the front, only a little more messed up regarding the information.

 

 

There is only included the most necessary accessories, but again, the price is also low.
