Previously we have already reviewed a number of different GeForce 9600 GT based graphics cards, and the one we are taking a look at today, is a BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC card with 512MB GDDR3 RAM, that has been overclocked by the manufacturer.

  • Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 overclocked with the Windforce cooler

    30/11 - 2010

Gigabyte’s GV-N460OC-1GI is built with the Ultra Durable VGA components and an anti-turbulent Windforce cooling component. The advantages with that initiative are for example lower temperatures on the GPU, bigger overclocking potential and a lower power consumption, compared to the GTX 460 reference version.

The card’s GF104 GPU is overclocked with 40 MHz from the factory, but the 1 GB GDDR5 memory runs at standard speed. This test will answer how the GV-N460OC-1GI competes against AMD’s Radeon HD 6800 series in ordinary, but also PhysX and anti-alising benchmarks.

  • Gigabyte GV-RX387512H Radeon HD 3870 (UK)

    02/07 - 2008

The card we're reviewing today is Gigabytes version of a high end graphicscard based on the RV670 chip from ATI. Gigabyte is known for their quality, which can be proved by taking a look at their product line, which is more about quality than quantity. Besides the fitted Zalman cooler, Gigabyte has also transferred their "Ultra Durable" components from their motherboards, components that have proven a lot of quality and stability.

  • How to Overclock your graphics card

    22/02 - 2013

The graphics card, the almost divine graphics cars. Every gamer’s best friend. Unfortunately, the best friends cost the most. It is possible to spend 12.000 DKK on a single graphics card. But as expensive as it can be, as cheap can it be too. There are graphics cards at 200 DKK, but they are not necessarily as you expect. Graphics cards perform as differently as they cost. Besides the big range and pricing, many cards perform weird compared to the price, but I will return to that later on in the article.
