Here we see the cables and adapters that come with the card. It’s nice to see a DVI->HDMI adapter; something several other companies could learn of.
Here is the driver CD-rom and a small installation guide, which doesn’t have a Danish translation, but English. But that’s more or less the standard today.

Here we see the specifications of the Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition. The card is build up upon the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT core.
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition runs on a core speed of 5400MHz and a memory speed of 1400MHz on the 256MB GDDR3 RAM.
As mentioned, the card is made for PCI Express, and as with all the other NVIDIA GeForce cards of the 8000 series, this card also supports full use of DirectX10.
A nice feature of the Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition, which makes it excel from many other cards, is the support of DVI audio that enables a DVI/HDMI signature directly into a TV or receiver with a HDMI connector.
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition also supports NVIDIA PureVideo, but unfortunately, NVIDIA’s PureVideo software is only usable when purchased. PowerDVD supports PureVideo, which clearly makes a poor image much better.

THE PRODUCT
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition comprises the NVIDIA reference layout on a blue circuit board. On the card, a passive heat pipe cooler is attached, which does not take out more space than the height of the back-panel of the card. So it does not fill extra card-slots inside the computer.
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT Zone Edition does not require extra power due to the special PCI Express connector.
The card’s passive cooler is situated exclusively on the chip, and the RAM modules are not cooled in any way.
