TUL Corporation, the people behind PowerColor, established VTX3D i year 2009, with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan. The range of products includes AMD Radeon based graphics cards for every kind of user. The future strategy is to differentiate from the competing producers, by offering reliable and powerful solutions, with professional support. VTX3D’s products are distributed to more than 20 countries, among them is Denmark, where Inter-Data is the only partner.
The VTX3D Radeon HD 6850 X-Edition is designed to comply with gamer enthusiasts' need of high performance at a low price. The barts core is overclocked from 775 mHz to 800 MHz, and the GDDR5 memory is also overclocked from 1000 MHz to 1050 MHz. AMD's referencedesign has been modified with a noiseless 9-winged cooling unit, red transparent surface and other connections. The review will demonstrate the performance of the card in new DirectX 11 titles, like Mafia 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops, where it will be compared to the Radeon HD 6850 and the GTX 460.

Packaging
The card is shipped in a relatively small box, with various features illustrated on the front. Eyefinity is supported by up to three monitors. 2 x Mini DisplayPort 1.2 connections have been changed to a full-sized DisplayPort. A sticker indicates, that we have the overclocked X-Edition by hand.

On the backside, the specifications are listed in point-form. Various information is written in different languages.

A cardboard box is under the cosmeticly nice outer box. VTX3D protect the card with an anti-static bag. The accessories are at the bottom of the box.

The product does not include either power cords or a game, which is rather dissappointing. The target group is really demanding these extra goodies.
