Test

To test the Ultimate Ears 100 was spent with a desktop computer with a Creative Fatal1ty Pro sound card with default settings. In this way we got it right sound impression as there was tampered with some settings. The test was going to hear a lot of different music and see a single film. We chose not to include games in this test, since this is not at all what Ultimate Ears 100 are made for.

For music listening makes Ultimate Ears 100 absolutely fantastic taken into account by the price of a paltry 180 pounds. The sound is really nice, clear, bass is tight and cash and not highlighted. We tried to throw something at which the dance is good with pace and bass, and so we turned up otherwise well. Even at high volumes, there was no trace of distortion or other unpleasant sound. The bass was incredibly precise and there was plenty of it without it being too much. Treble area was not too sharp or dominant as we often feel when you crank up a set of headphones. Overall the Ultimate Ears 100 it REALLY good for music listening, and it did not matter what we threw at them.

As mentioned we saw a single movie with Ultimate Ears 100. It was the film Faster from 2010 we chose to see. This is because there are a lot of action, explosions, and once in the movie all the way through in terms of soundtrack. Glories of music listening time continued here. Ultimate Ears 100 was again really great to listen to. The voices were nice and crisp and sounded really convincing. The explosions were also reproduced very nice and it was pretty impressive how much bass the small "ear buds" could actually deliver.

Conclusion

Though Ultimate Ears 100 is a small product that most might not have to spot it is certainly worth taking a closer look at! Already you keep wrapping their hands, you sense that you sit with something a bit special in your hands. This is probably due to the very "screams" colors such as Ultimate Ears 100 are made in.

When you get wrapped headphones, put them in your ears and hear the music for the first time in them can not worry about anything other than wow. Although signed as a pretty big "lydfreak" if you can call it, was surprised. It really is amazing what the small "earbud" can deliver the sound, and they can not just play loud, they sound really well and the bass is pretty convincing.

The only negative we can think of could be very "screaming" colors, as this might scare some people from buying just Ultimate Ears 100th We here at Tweak.dk seemed to turn it's cool that some producers choose to make products with these colors.

We choose to give Ultimate Ears 100 our "Editors Choice" award because of the really good sound, not to mention the price at only 40 dollars.

Positive

  • Play really well to everything
  • Good deep bass
  • Included "plugs" in four sizes
  • Protector Mini-Jack connector
  • Really good price vs. sound quality
  • Available in several variants

Negative

  • The colors (some dislike "Pang" colors)
