In other words, everything you need is included, but that’s all there is. A bundled game or some extra software would have been nice for the Sparkle SF-PX96GT512D3-HP – especially because it’s a high-end card.
Specifications: It’s time to have a look at the specifications for the Sparkle SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP card. With the 9800GTX, Sparkle has chosen to follow Nvidia’s reference designs in both layout and cooler, and also the technical specifications. Nvidia states the following specifications for the 9800GTX cards.
• Model number : SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP • Graphics Processing : NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX • Core Clock : 675MHz • Memory Clock : 2200MHz • Memory Type : 512MB GDDR3 • Memory Interface : 256Bit • Shader Clock : 1688MHz • Bus Type : PCI-Express 2.0 • RAMDAC : 400 MHz
There’s nothing special to report about the specifications for the SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP card. However, one thing that isn’t mentioned in the specifications is that the 9XXX series offers a soundcard connection so that you’ll only need a single HDMI cable for your TV.
Besides that, Sparkle doesn’t mention that the SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP supports triple SLI. One could wonder why Sparkle has chosen not to emphasize this feature. Comparing the SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP to other Nvidia cards it becomes obvious that the 9800GTX doesn’t bring anything new to the scene.

Most of all, the 9800GTX reminds you of an overclocked version of the 8800GTS card. We’ll let the tests show if this statement is true or not.
The product: Now we’ll take a closer look at the design and layout of the Sparkle SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP card. The first thing you notice about the card is the length. The card is so long that Nvidia has chosen to move the power connection to the side of the card (as seen on 8800GTX/Ultra)
Looking at the side of the SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP card, we see the previously mentioned power connection. Apparently, the 9800GTX requires a lot of power.
