Introduction: In this test we are taking a look at yet another graphics card from Sparkle. We are reviewing one of Nvidias latest additions to their card range – the 9800GTX. The card Sparkle has provided is called Sparkle SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP, and it is going to be interesting to see if this new card will offer something new compared to the 8800 series.
Packaging: The Sparkle SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP is packed in a light blue box, with a big gothic ”S” dominating the front. Behind this “S” there’s a window.
Behind the big ”S” you see the card, and you notice that the cooler has the light theme too. On the sides of the package you find a short list of specifications for the Sparkle SF-PX98GTX512D3-HP.
The backside of the package is used for displaying what features the SLI technology offers.
Other than that, there’s an overview showing what resolutions the different outputs on the card offers. The card is well protected, and the card and accessories are in different compartments. In the box you find the Sparkle SF-PX96GT512D3-HP card, but also the following:
• A manual • Driver CD • DVI to VGA converter • A component out cable • A S-video out cable • A power splitter
