When you insert the CD in your pc, this window pops up and gives you the possibility of finding the server for you and setting it op without messing with it manually.
This is a picture of the QNAP Finder, the software tries to find the QNAP server for you so that you can set it up or connect to it.
Under the ”automatic” install you’re asked which mode you want your discs in. As mentioned before RAID 0 doesn’t make much sense in a NAS system though it’s still possible, but the smartest and safest is definitely RAID 1.
