Here, at Tweak.dk, we are proud to present a rare test of a laptop. The machine that we are testing is a MSI EX600. With the EX600, MSI proposes a compact multimedia machine in their Entertainment Series. With its nVidia DX10 graphics card and 2 Gigs of RAM, one should think that this machine can fulfill the requirements of a multimedia machine, but unfortunately, they’ve not been lucky in their choice of CPU. We will delve into this later on.
The computer comes in a brown box, with “MSI” printed on the side. Inside of it, yet another box is found, containing the computer and its various accessories, as well as a bag. All of this is securely placed and wrapped.
The box contains the following:
• The laptop
• 230V power connector
• Optical mouse
• Quickstart guide
• Recovery disc
• Driver CD
• Cloth (for cleaning the screen)
I must admit that I’m positively impressed. Usually, laptop bundles consist of a battery, an adapter, and a driver CD. In this case, with a bag and a mouse, MSI have put together a quite satisfying bundle.
Before taking a deeper look into the machine, we’ll just have a glance of what It comprises:
• Chipset: Intel® PM965 Express
• CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 (1,5Ghz w/ 2mb cache)
• Screen: 15.4" WXGA ACV

• Dimensions: 358 x 259 x 27-33 mm.

Judging by its components, the EX600 contains all the specifications necessary for it to function as an entertainment machine.
