Packaging: Gigabyte has made the package very nice. The motherboard is delivered in a nice white box, a super smart design, and what’s more important is that the packing protects the content.
The quality of the packing is high, and one gets an impression of dealing with a high end product.
In the box, doors closed with Velcro has been made with a little window and various details about the technologies posted. Through the window one can see the large cobber profiles making up the passive cooling. It all looks impressive, and seems promising as to what one could expect of the board for overclocking.
The board is bundled with 4 SATA cables and a single eSATA cable, even though you get eSATA connections at the I/O panel. eSATA is definitely better than USB discs when talking about external storage, where you rarely get more than 20 Mb/sec from USB. eSATA has the same limits as internal SATA, providing up to 300 Mb/sec.
