Introduction: About a year ago the game Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was released, and quickly became popular due to its fantastic gameplay and great graphics. Now a successor has been released, and since we’ve tested the first one here at Tweak.dk, it seemed natural to have a look at the new edition as well. In general, games produced in association with Tom Clancy are high quality, but will a successor be able to deliver the same entertainment as the first one, without the gameplay being too identical? Or did Ubisoft create a perfect game once again? The game has been loaned to us by Ubisoft Denmark, and the test was made with v.1.02.
Gameplay: The game continues where we left Captain Scott Mitchell and his ghosts in the previous Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter game. Here, the crew got both the Mexican and American president out of the hands of the Mexican military rebels after the rebel leader had tried a Coup d’État
The year is 2014, and the relationship between US and Mexican military rebels is still cold. The US has constructed a 3000 km long wall along the Mexican border, which is there to protect the country against the Mexican rebels that constantly seek new ways of brining the battle to American soil. Captain Scott Mitchell and his ghosts have returned to Fort Bliss in Texas to maintain their training, but are immediately thrown into battle again. The remaining Mexican rebels have gathered along the American border, and to make things worse, they’ve got their hands on a couple of nuclear warheads, which they intend to use against the US. You mission as the leader of the top trained and secret crew “The Ghosts” is to stop the Mexican rebels from shedding innocent blood, and to bring peace and order to the border region between the US and Mexico.
