The test:
Now we'll test the performance of the Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red modules. The RAM modules will be tested in a system with the following components:

• Asus P5K-E
• Intel Core2Duo E6600
• 2 stk. WD 2500KS
• Asus 8800GTS 640MB
• Corsair HX620W
• Windows Vista64 bit

The performance of the RAM will be tested with 3 different programs. In the test, the performance of stock and overclocked frequencies will be compared. This way it's possible to estimate the Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red modules performance when stressed to the limit. We'll start off with the performance in Everest.

The performance is as expected. In the speed dependant tests, the Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red modules are placed like expected. The test also clearly shows the advantage of 4 Gb opposed to 2 Gb. In some tests the modules score twice the score of a similar 2 GB pair. Sisoft Sandra is next up in the benchmarks.

Looking at the results from read and write, it all corresponds to the Everest test.
