The test: Let's get the benchmarks started, and the first one is ATTO.
ATTO: ATTO v2.34 - is one of the older (but still pretty good) benchmarks for hard drives. It measures raw transfer speeds when reading and writing data of various lengths, and then displays the results as graphs as shown below.
Both Corsair drives performs about the same, and the Corsair Extreme X128 even performs better than what Corsair states. Very nice, let's see if that's the case in the next benchmark as well.
HD Tach: HD Tach 126.96.36.199 is also one of the oldies, and requires compatibility mode in Windows 7 to function. Because of this, the results should be viewed with a bit of skepticism.
Once again the Corsair Extreme X128 drive has pole potion in both benchmarks, and the regular hard drive is completely wiped out.
