Introduction The case reviewed today is from the German APLUS. The case isn’t very big, it’s in the mid tower range. The name of the case is Aplus CS-Monolith II, which makes you think of something that will last forever. No power supply is bundled which is pretty normal.
The company APlus Case, which manufactured this case, is dedicated to making computer cases, and they’ve been selling cases since 2005.
Specifications This is the specifications for the case:
Model: CS-Monolith II Type: Midi Tower Drivebays 3,5”: 2x 3,5” external + 5x hidden (internal) Materials: Plastic/Rubber and metal 5.25" Drives: 4 stk. 3.5" Drives: 5 stk. MB type: ATX Front I/O: 2 x USB, Audio I/O
Fans: Front: 1 stk. 120mm, 92mm or 80mm (optional, not included) Side panel: 1 stk. Adjustable 250mm Fan
Packaging As always, the package is pretty big because we’re dealing with a case. The weight isn’t much to discuss, and words like monolith doesn’t come to mind. But at least it should be easy to transport back and forth from net parties or what ever is in ones interest. The package has black and white illustrations which show some specifications, including that the ROHS environment standard has been met.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the ROHS, it’s a standard that should prevent heavy metals and other dangerous materials from finding their way to the product.
