INTRODUCTION In this test, we are going to have a look on a motherboard from Asus, which is build upon Intel’s P35 chip. Asus is one of the leading manufacturers of hardware on the market, and they have a reputation for releasing quality products. The motherboard for today is the Asus P5K Premium/ WiFi-AP Black Pearl Edition, which is the third motherboard in Asus’ Black Pearl series – Asus Black Pearl is being promoted as the best of the best, so it will be exciting to see if it can live up to the expectations.
PACKAGING Asus P5K WiFi-AP Black Pearl Edition comes in a very good-looking and unusual dark-blue metallic box.
Around the sides of the box, typical information relating to the specifications and extra features are imprinted.

One of the special features is a more stabile power usage i.e. less fluctuation on the voltages that are delivered to the various components. When removing the blue metallic packaging, one is met by typical black box that is common for Asus products.
