INTRODUCTION
In this test, we are going to take a look on a graphics card from Asus, namely, a 8600GTS, which supports DX10. Recently, we tested a P5K motherboard from Asus, which performed really well. So it will be exciting to see whether Asus can maintain their usual standard. The graphics card that we are going to test is called Asus EN8600GTS Silent.

PACKAGING
The Asus EN8600GTS Silent comes in a black and green box. On the front cover the most important features about the card are printed.



On the back cover the features and functions of the Asus EN8600GTS Silent is described in further detail.



The box itself is divided into two separate rooms; one for the card and one for the accessories.



It’s also evident that the card is well protected by polystyrene. Other than the card, the box contains the following:

• Driver CD • Installation Guide • Component cable • DVI-VGA converter • CD containing the manual in several languages • Leather CD pocket
