ASRock use a AMI BIOS and this one is build up pretty simple. The categories is in the top of the screen and this makes it very easy to find out. In the first tab (MAIN) you’ll find the normal settings regarding information about date and time.
OCTweaker contains a lot of information how you best can overclock your system. It is literally possible to access and change everything in here. The CPU’s FSB can be raised from 100 to 600 and the RAM –depending on the model- can be set after different OC profiles. So there is enough to do.
The Advanced tab is home for 8 sub categories.
The H/W monitor tab gives you an overlook of all the voltages, along with the possibility to see your CPU temperature and fan speeds.
The Boot tab gives you the option to choose which optic drives is bootable first. And to setup BIOS password.
Under Security you’ll find the possibilty to lock your BIOS with a code.
The last tab is Exit – it is self-explanatory but here you can save the things you have changed and then reboot. Or if you want default settings back, then this is available though the “Load Setup Default” option.
