Intel har ?benbart lidt problemer med deres Grantsdale f?r lanceringen. Hvad problemet end m? v?re s? betyder det at chipsettet bliver uden wi-fi.
A REPORT BY Mark Hachman at e-week said that Intel switched off the wi-fi features of Grantsdale not for security reasons but because the technology built into the chipset doesn't work yet. According to the article, Grantsdale won't be able to implement the chipset's wi-fi features until the chip giant releases an Intel-only PCI Card at the end of the year. Manufacturers wanting to offer access points or wi-fi nodes will have to bundle their own kit which won't hook into Grantsdale or Alderwood, said e-week.
