EliteNAS Provides The Support Of The Latest 10G Interfaces On The Full Line Of EliteNAS Network

Sans Digital is proud to announce the support of the latest 10G interfaces on the full line of EliteNAS high performance network attached storage systems utilizing the state of the art SFP+, XFP, CX4 or 1000BaseT interfaces. The ultra fast 10G network interface provides maximum amount of data bandwidth between high performance servers or switches and is ideal for datacenter or network backbone connectivity.

As data size and capacity grows, more and more companies are in need of a high speed, high availability network storage device such as the EliteNAS with 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. Organizations and businesses today are discovering the benefits of optimizing their data centers and server rooms by consolidating servers in order to free up physical space, power consumption, and IT administration. The full support of the 10GbE connection to the popular EliteNAS series NAS rackmount storage systems allows for users to reach maximum performance while offering the best reliability in a network shared environment. All EliteNAS rackmounts, including 2U 8-bay EN208L+BXE, 2U 12-bay EN212L+BXE, 3U 16-bay EN316L+BXE, 4U 24-bay EN424L+BXE, 8U 50-bay EN850L+BXE and 8U 72-bay EN872L+BXE for 64bit Linux based NAS or Windows based NAS have the option to upgrade to either a single, dual or quad 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) connections using SFP+, XFP, CX4 and 10GBASE-T.

The 10G network interface(s) provides the fastest interconnectivity for virtualized environments compared to fibre channel or the traditional 1Gb Ethernet connections. As virtualized computing grows, the need for faster data transfer bandwidth must be available to prevent common performance bottleneck due to insufficient data transfer pipelines. Virtualized computing environment can also benefit greatly from the 10G network bandwidth and increased data capacity provided by the ElinitNAS series of Network attached storage rackmount systems. The EliteNAS with 10GbE interface(s) provides expandable data storage capability via its built-in mini-SAS expansion to additional JBOD enclosures (AccuSTOR or EliteSTOR series).

The Sans Digital EliteNAS product line provides customer with a reliable, affordable and easy to deploy 10 Gigabit Ethernet storage. "The support for a variety of 10G network interfaces ( SFP+, XFP, CX4 and 10G-Base-T), allows customer maximum flexibility to quickly deploy the 10G network storage into any existing network infrastructure." said Stanley Chan, Director of Business Development of Sans Digital. "Additional features such as OS Mirroring & Duo-DOM along with ultra fast multi-core Intel CPU on the EliteNAS ensuring the highest performance and redundancy possible for your NAS application.
