Gigabyte er officielt kommet med deres tre G1.Killer bundkort
Gigabyte har nu lanceret deres deres tre G1.Killer bundkort, baseret på Intel P67 chipsættet. Der er tale om G1.Assassin, G1.Sniper og G1.Guerrilla bundkortene, der alle hører til i den dyre ende.

GIGABYTE presents its new gaming motherboards. The three gaming motherboards codenamed G1.Assassin, G1.Sniper and G1.Guerrilla are now available in retail stores and online shops. The GIGABYTE G1.Killer series focus on what is important for gamers: performance.
The motherboards are based on Intel’s X58 chipset, which supports high-end Intel® Core™ i7-processors including the record-breaking Intel® Core™ i7990X Extreme Edition- processor, but that is not all. The G1.Killer motherboards also offer outstanding graphic performance: The G1.Assassin offers the possibility to use 4-way-Crossfire and 3-way-SLI, whereas G1.Sniper and G1.Guerilla supports 3-way-SLI and 3-way-Crossfire. GIGABYTE wants to offer gamers the possibility to use all extension slots for unprecedented VGA performance having additionally integrated all important components onto the motherboards.
Each member of GIGABYTE’s G1.Killer Gaming series use the Bigfoot Networks Killer™ E2100 Game Networking platform – the best networking solution for gamers. A Network Processing Unit (NPU) with eine Gigabyte dedicated DDR2 memory helps to offload network traffic from the processor, freeing up resources for other important tasks. Killer Network Manager’s Applications Tab uses Bigfoot Network’s exclusive Visual Bandwidth Control™ Technology to enable users to see how much bandwidth they are using and which applications are using it.
Bigfoot’s Advanced Game Detect™ technology will keep the current game at top priority and provide all the bandwidth it needs while users continue to download. The GIGABYTE G1.Killer series features a brand new heat pipe that was designed to be as deadly to heat as it looks. By effectively spreading the heat from the critical areas of the motherboard such as the processor VRM zone and quickly dissipating it, all GIGABYTE G1.Killer series motherboards remain cool, even when the battle heats up. Modeled after common firearms issued to soldiers deployed to warzones including pistol, rifle and ammo clip, the Locked and Loaded heat pipe design utilizes a unique fluting technology similar to a rifle barrel fluting, which allows maximum heat dispersion.
