SilverStone Technology has done a good job at extending the Temjin product line by offering a balance between high-end and budget cases. The SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case is an excellent budget case that includes an assortment of useful features right out of the box. The fabricated aluminum alloy front bezel is beautiful and uses a simplistic design that makes this case stand out from the crowd. Consumers will love the front port extension panel that includes all the necessary ports for connecting USB based devices, as well as support for Firewire applications and multimedia. Stock cooling options are good using two 120mm fan mounts positioned at the front and rear of the case to balance air circulation. I would have liked to have seen a secondary 120mm dual ball bearing fan included for the rear exhaust as a default product option. The unique drive rail system and removable drive cages simplify the process of installing system components and maintenance. One additional benefit to this case would have been the inclusion of a slide out motherboard tray to really emphasize the tool-less key design options. While the SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case excels in some areas my biggest critique is the decision to use a one piece "L" shape design for the top and right side panel. Most consumers prefer to have full access to all portions of the case and in its existing configuration routing cabling and wiring behind the motherboard tray is far too difficult. Overall, I was very pleased with the SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case and rate this case a 8 out of 10. I'm hoping that future revisions of this product improve on the design to make this one of the top budget cases on the consumer market.
