Gigabyte’s All-New 3D Cooler
The Silent and Lightweight Cooling Solution

Taipei, Taiwan December 2003- Gigabyte Technology introduces a new and innovative cooling solution to the market, the Gigabyte 3D Cooler.  The cooler comes with an eye-catching LED light display and is light weight, attractive and dedicated to maximum cooling and minimal noise output.  With its patent-pending copper base design, the Gigabyte’s 3D Cooler is compatible with a variety of platforms from the P4, K8 to K7 and is quickly and easily installed without the use of tools.  With such unique features, the Gigabyte 3D Cooler is the superior cooling choice for your system.

Designed for Maximum Cooling
The 3D Cooler is comprised of a heat sink and copper base, functioning in both thermal conductivity and transfer, and a central blower that actively dissipates heat. The unique central blower structure of the cooler allows for cool air to enter both from the top and the base of the cooler as well as for heat to escape outwards in a 360?fashion.  As a result, optimal cooling of the CPU is achieved along with secondary cooling of surrounding components.  The heat sink structure is composed of high density fins that dramatically decrease the overall weight of the heat sink while increasing the surface area available for highly effective dissipation of heat. Along with high density fins, the heat sink contains embedded heat pipes which have high heat transfer capabilities (10 times greater than copper) due to its two-phase heat transfer mechanism.  The blower also uses a two ball bearing system which can be operated with a long life expectancy of up to 70,000 hours for reliable and lasting cooling of the CPU.

Noise Control at Your Fingertips

For quiet and controlled cooling, the Gigabyte 3D Cooler also comes supplied with a front 3.5” panel and a rear PCI panel for manual fan speed and noise adjustment according to working environment.  The cooler is able to operate at fan speeds between 2000 to 4000rpm while keeping the noise level within a comfortable range of 20dBA to 40dBA. For instance, the fan speed can be adjusted from 2000rpm during normal use to a speed as high as 4000rpm when over-clocking.  Thus, the 3D Cooler allows users to easily adjust for the desired fan speed and noise output level.

Lightweight and Attractive
With its high density fin design, the overall weight of the Gigabyte 3D Cooler is dramatically decreased to a total weight of just 430g.  This lightweight structure removes any unneeded burden on your system without compromising its high-performing cool and quiet functionality.  Besides being light in weight, the cooler is pleasing to the eye with its strong copper foundation and heat sink structure.  As an added feature, the 3D Cooler has an eye-catching LED light display that gives your system an illuminated blue glow.

Easy and Quick Installation
Gigabyte’s 3D Cooler is designed to work with the P4, K8 to K7 platforms of which all three sets of clips are included.  No tools are required in the installation process for each platform- as outlined in the instruction manual.  Once installed, the cooler maintains trustworthy and superior cooling for your system.

The innovative Gigabyte 3D Cooler is not only built to last, but aims at achieving efficient and sufficient CPU cooling in a wide range of load environments.  Not only does the cooler guarantee superior cooling effects, but also maintains a good level of noise control- all in a lightweight and attractive package.
