The Minolta-QMS was designed for the budget concious. It has wonderful features for the price albeit a little inconvenience in maintenance issues. Also, its images were pretty good except that they were more skewed towards yellow. However, with its glossy look, some may find the Minolta more appealing. With its price, speed and image quality, it may really kill most inkjets like what they say in their ads. We do recommend this printer for home users/small offices who need a colour laser on shoe-string budget.
Overall, we like the HP CLJ2500 better. With sound hardware design and good colour accuracy, we find this printer a winner in almost everyway. We also appreciate the fact that they have a cheaper version that doesn't have a network interface. This may serve well for those who wants a good colour laser printer for home at an afforable price. For all this good work they had put in, we have no hesitation in awarding this printer our Editors' Choice.
