SteelSeries’ original Sensei and Sensei [RAW] mice were no weak competition for the gaming industry. While the Sensei [RAW] satisfied the niche for a mid-range affordable option, the Sensei mouse offered more customizable features like on-board profile memory, millions of LED color choices, and a customizable LCD panel, and if you speed demons out there thought that the Sensei was fancy with its 1-5,700 CPI and 5,701- 11,400 DPI, wait until you meet Steel Series newest addition to the Sensei family: The Sensei MLG (Major League Gaming) Edition. With a team of professional gamers driving the design, SteelSeries promises that for gamers of every level, the Sensei MLG edition will help you win. The $100 price tag on this mouse stands out, and may easily lead to the question, “Is it worth the cheddar?” With multiple shining industry reviews, and a spectacular list of features, my expectations of this build were high. First impressions were that this mouse appeared to be a people pleaser. You can be a lefty or a righty, have a claw, palm or swipe grip, or speak nearly any language. You can be a professional gamer, or literally just starting out. You can adjust the mouse to play on nearly any surface, and be picky and choosy about which colors you’ll allow on your device. With stark claims as the “world’s most customizable mouse”, the simple exterior and only several programmable buttons make a bland first impression.
