The Wind U160DX features MSI’s TDE’s turbo drive technology which kicks in the overclocking to enhance processing performance instantly, maximizing the machine’s hardware capabilities. This unique feature means the MSI Wind U160DX pushes the processor speed up, to give you a performance boost when you need it the most! The Wind U160DX also upgrades the memory support for upto 2GB of DDR3, this means you not only get a performance boost but also uses less power. This also means you can get some extra time away from the power plug with your Wind U160DX.
The Wind U160DX series comes with Intel’s latest ATOM N455 processor the single-chip architecture enhances the overall performance by 10% and extends battery life by 15%. *
The body of the MSI Wind U160DX series is coated in MSI’s own ColourFilm Print to helpProtect against scratches and wear. The U160DX measures in at less than one-inch and tips the scales at a mere 1kg. The feather-light Wind U160DX features a unique display axle, blue LED power indicator, and your choice of either gold or black colourFilm print. The MSI logo exudes a silvery glow when the netbook is being powered up and the areas on either side of the touchpad are coated with colorFilm print toProtect against scratches and wear.
Big on details, MSI offers the most comfortable computing experience possible. As such, the Wind U160DX employs MSI’s own Chiclet keyboard with independent keys for a solid, silent touch when typing, while adding to the overall elegance of the unit.
MSI’s extra-wide touchpad built into the U160DX merges seamlessly into the surrounding area of the chassis, allowing your fingers to move around more freely. The touchpad comprises a grid of raised dots that enhance both the tactile effect and aesthetic attraction, and make it both fun and easy to use.
