TRENDnet Announces Direct Partnership with Ingram Micro Germany

TRENDnet, a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions today announces a new direct distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Germany to initially stock 59 TRENDnet networking hardware products.
Ingram Micro is the largest global broadline information technology distributor with 2008 revenues of $34.4 billion. Ranking 67th on the Fortune 500 list, Ingram Micro employs 14,000 people in 35 countries. Ingram Micro maintains 108 distribution centers that serve over 170,000 resellers from 150 countries.
Ingram Micro Europe generates 34% of Ingram Micro's global revenue. Ingram Micro Germany is the largest of 11 European distribution business units. It serves 35,000 active resellers in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Hungary.
Ingram Micro Germany will offer TRENDnet's complete product portfolio of over 330 networking solutions to its German, Austrian, and Hungarian markets. The following TRENDnet networking hardware categories will be stocked: Web Smart Switch, Unmanaged Switch, Fiber, Internet Security Camera, Internet Camera Enclosure, Print Server, Wireless Networking, and Bluetooth®. Approximately half of the products in the listed product categories are consumer products and half are enterprise class products.
"TRENDnet is very excited to announce this new partnership with Ingram Micro Germany," stated Michael Peters of TRENDnet. "There is unmet demand for TRENDnet's high quality SMB networking products and Ingram Micro Germany offers unmatched reach to Value Added Resellers throughout the region."
"TRENDnet's extensive Product portfolio supplements our overall category offering. In particular, TRENDnet's Internet Security Camera and Wireless LAN product categories provide a compelling value proposition to our expansive customer base," stated Klaus Donath, Director Networking and Software Group, for Ingram Micro Germany. "We have tracked TRENDnet's success with Ingram Micro USA for several years and anticipate similar results in our competitive markets."
"The new distribution agreement marks a significant milestone for TRENDnet and makes it noticeably easier for our growing European customer base to find our products," stated Pei Huang, CEO and President of TRENDnet. "We anticipate significant incremental growth from the new Ingram Micro Germany agreement."
