This survey is organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and co-organized by the Business Next and Interbrand, and has been conducted for six consecutive years. It is supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs. Interbrand, a global branding consultancy. This survey uses its well-established brand evaluation methodology to prepare financial valuations of Taiwan’s global brands. The brand valuation consists of qualitative and quantitative financial analysis to help effectively pinpoint the role of Taiwan’s brands in the global market. Currently, Taiwan brands have an important influence in the international market. In order to encourage more enterprises to continue to invest in branding, the Taiwanese government provides this brand list to further demonstrate Taiwan’s excellent brand name and to increases its awareness with consumers.
