The kits come in 1GB and 2GB versions, with operating frequencies of 400MHz, 433MHz and 500MHz. Like Corsair, OCZ also claim to have acknowledged the need for larger memory capacities and in doing so, is delivering 2GB memory kits to gamers. They claim newer games such as Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Battlefield 2 require 2GB of memory. From my experiences Doom 3 and Half Life 2 run pretty well with 1GB of memory. Battlefield 2 on the other hand runs much smoother with 2GB of memory. However this is not really the point, future games (very near future) will require at least 2GB of memory, particularly massively multiplayer games.
