Dordrecht (the Netherlands), July 2005 - Stay close to the enemy during a dogfight and experience a true virtual spectacle with the Trust Joystick GM-2500 (www.trust.com/14274). This joystick, which has recently been added to the Trust game range, turns a gamer into a real pilot in their own cockpit so that, for example, an air chase becomes even more realistic. The robust joystick from Trust has been designed with a striking red metallic finish and, as a result, is a real eye-catcher on a gamer's table top. Besides the usual movements along the x-axis and y-axis, the gamer can also use this joystick to make movements along the z-axis to make extra dimensions, such as looking over your shoulder or rudder steering, easier. The accelerator lever ensures precise and smooth movements along the z-axis. The analogue registration of all these movements gives the gamer accurate control over the game.
The joystick has 12 buttons which give the user a large number of options when playing games and the special HAT-switch button can be used to look in eight different directions or to select different options. Each button action can be quickly repeated, which is very important when, for example, firing in quick sequence. A 1.8-metre long USB cable gives the gamer enough room to play games and four strong suction pads keep the Plug & Play joystick in place, even during the most violent of movements.
The Trust Joystick GM-2500 is fully Plug & Play compatible and comes supplied with a multi-language instruction manual. The product will be available from the beginning of August.
