Kingston har med deres HyperX brand sat sit præg på markedet i mange år. Ud over hukommelse benytter de også HyperX branded til deres Solid State Drives. Her er det 240GB versionen af deres Kingston HyperX 3K SSD der testes.

Their HyperX DDR memory is well known to deliver good performance and overclockability for enthusiasts, which is why the company chose to brand their high-performance SSDs as "HyperX". The first HyperX SSD released the (blue) "Kingston HyperX", today we are testing the "Kingston HyperX 3K" which uses a grey color theme. Unlike the older HyperX, which guarantees up to 5K full writes of the disk capacity on the Intel flash chips, the HyperX 3K features "only" 3K cycles. The older HyperX model seems to be end of life and replaced by the HyperX 3K as we had a hard time finding it anywhere in-stock.
