Jeg har en Corsair HX620 som er gået i stykker (den springer sikringerne når man tænder for den). Jeg har købt den brugt for et par år siden og har ikke kvitteringen på den. Der er 5 års garanti fra Corsair.
Jeg prøvede at skrive ind til deres RMA afdeling hvor jeg beskrev problemet og forhørte mig om der var noget de kunne gøre selvom jeg ikke havde kvittering, eventuelt hvis jeg kunne oplyse et serienummer til dem. Jeg fik følgende svar:

We apologize for any inconvenience you have encountered with your Corsair product. We have received & approved your online RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) request and will e-mail your confirmation RMA number along with return instructions within 24 hours.
If you do not receive the RMA confirmation within one business day, please contact Corsair's Customer Service Department at TF# 888-222-4346 or send an e-mail inquiry to rma@corsair.com . All e-mail inquiries should include the first and last name the RMA was requested under, telephone number and TSX Case number. NOTE** Corsair's Customer Service Department is available M-F, 8:00am - 5:00 PM PST, excluding holidays. Please allow additional response time for inquires sent over holiday's and weekends.

PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS:
* DO NOT return any Corsair product in a standard mailing envelope! Please only use a padded envelope or proper fitting box.
* We strongly recommend using a carrier that will provide you with a tracking # and option for added insurance for your package. Any package that arrives empty will be returned to the sender. In addition, Corsair is not liable for any lost/stolen packages. Corsair will only replace the product which we physically receive.
* Please make sure your complete address is included within the package: first/last name, telephone # and complete return address. Be aware, some shipping stores do not include your contact details on the address label.
* Please include a copy of this RMA Confirmation with your shipment
CORSAIR REPLACEMENT SHIPMENT
* Once your package is received, Corsair will process your replacement order in 3-5 days.
All replacements will be shipped UPS Standard. Please allow 2-4 business days transit time for delivery.
We will inform you of any product delays or problems making a shipment within this time frame.
* All replacement orders are shipped at Corsair's expense via UPS services

Umiddelbart forstår jeg det som om de har godkendt min sag og bare venter på jeg sender produktet ind til dem? Har I nogen idé om hvad de gør? Sender et nyt tilsvarende produkt uden videre? Og hvad hvis de undersøger det og ikke mener der er noget galt, kan de så finde på at kræve et gebyr af en slags?
Og ved I hvad man gør med porto? Dækker de det?
